Having been in a fair share of audits / assessments, and having a pretty good feel for how they go, the one you led was by far the most “fair” that I’ve been a part of. I also feel that your finding about Aviatt not having yet implemented their new objectives for the start of the year to be not only accurate, but helpful. As we saw it as work in progress and therefore conforming, you made it clear that it didn’t meet specification requirements in a way we didn’t yet see. Leading up to the assessment, having a focus on assuring bad things aren’t uncovered, it’s hard to anticipate good things to come from them. We definatley feel good things have come from this assessment, from both your written finding on implementing objectives as well as the meeting we had with Younes inqiring about Risk Management and the associated ISO requirements that are applicable to us. These are things that make sense to Aviatt, they apply, and building upon these elements have left us with a very positive opinion on how the assessment went for us and the actual value that it has. That is how these things are supposed to go!
